Where
is Nääs Slott? Please see the map from Eniro.
Nääs Slott is an old castle - complex of old buildings
in the town of Lerum between Gothenburg (Göteborg from
now on in this text) and Allingsås (road E-20 towards
Stockholm) in Sweden.
If
you're coming from the south (south-east meaning Malmö,
Helsingborg etc), take the E-6 direction Göteborg.
Reaching Göteborg, and while you're still in the town,
follow the signs to OSLO (E-45) and later on to Stockholm
(E-20). The road E-20 is your way to Lerum. The signs will
be showing Stockholm and Allingsås - you're on the
right track. After about 20 km from Göteborg there
will be signs for FLODA and NÄÄS Slott. Please
follow that and turn right when indicated.
(Floda
is a part of the city of Lerum....)
If
you're coming from Stockholm and while on the road E-20,
please pay attention after Allingsås, after some 30
km you'll be seing the signs for Lerum and NÄÄS
Slott.
Driving
from Norway, follow the signs for E-20 direction Allingsås
and Stockholm. Please read the driving direction above.
Flights
to Göteborg land at the Landvetter Airport. The easiest
way to travel to Nääs Slott is by renting a car
or taking a taxi. Otherwise, you might also take the airport
buss to Göteborg and then find a public tranportation
towards Allingsås that stops in Nääs.
Please
observe that the accomodation costs are to be covered by
our participants. They are however quite low at
the Nääs Hostel (SEK 200/day)
The
facilities at Nääs Slott's Hostel provide
only 20 beds for our participants and guests so if you want
to make sure you'll be staying within the complex - please
book early by sending an application through email
We
can also suggest (Aspen
Camping) in case you're into camping...
Another
alternatives might be Ibis Hotel in Lerum, some 5 km from
the Nääs Castle. Simple and good hotel, SEK 273:-/person
in a double room, tel. 0302-17000.
The Allingsås hostel some 18 km away, tel 0322-636987
